In 2017, the MIM Team has accomplished the following:


1-Twelve students accepted to health professional school 

(Brown, City College, Cornell, Dartmouth,  Downstate, Einstein, Howard, Ross, Upstate)

2-Four Informational Webinars for over 2,000 high school and college/post-bac students

3-Monthly Empower Me! Seminars-Live and on-Line

4-Ten Summer Day Camps 

5-Thirty In-School Field Trips in NY, DC, FL and Jamaica

6-Health Science Elective in 8 high schools

7- After School Programs in 10 elementary, middle and high schools

8-Launch of the Parents who STEMM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math and Medicine) Network

9-College/post-baccalaureate internships in the Emergency Department to 120 students

10-Launch of the MIM Teaching Fellows Program that allows college students to educate and mentor middle and high school students.
